Life is sacred

On a cold evening just when it is time to be called dusk and me travelling on a train back home, I stumbled upon this question.

What is life ?

Come to think of it ... However complicated answers could be arrived for this one question, here is my thought on the same. Life is fun-ride, life is adventure, life is sacrifice, life is love, life is supercool, life is living every moment, life is learning, life just sucks in this economy, what life ?!?, life ..... . Oh dear, how many answers and yet not satisfied with'em. Well, after little bit of pondering. I came to a conclusion that - Life is sacred.

Let me tell you why this appeals to me. Life is sacred, as our body is the temple and in resides the holy spirit. Hence, life is sacred to me.

"Hindus believe that all life is sacred, to be loved and revered - Vedas"

"Nor take life which God has made sacred" (al-Isra', 17:33).

"Created in God's image, human life is sacred - Genesis 1:27; Psalm 139:13-16"

My stop has arrived ... have a good day!
